Korey Edminston

Im an artist from Pittsburgh who’s work is inspired by anime, comics and personal experiences. My aim is to tell stories through my art that make people feel seen. 

 

After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with my Associate of Science degree in graphic design I later focused on honing my fine art skills through books, online classes and YouTube. This lead me to displaying my art in local galleries and festivals that included the Three Rivers Arts Festival 2021 through 2025 and winning awards throughout the years including best in show 2025. I’ve collaborated on public art projects with YETIxPublic Lands, Patagonia, Bakery Square, Comcast, and The Pittsburgh International AirPort. Currently I paint murals for locals businesses, live paint at event, sell original and prints of my art and teach art. 

 

Studio Forget Me Not is a great place to be surrounded by creativity. I enjoy being able to share art techniques and the business side of art with the artist here.  With art, there is more than one way to make it where you want to go. Having a bit of guidance can help fast track those goals. Art is also a form of healing and self expression. Enjoying the process is one of the most important parts.
